Recently I’ve been loving enjoying different types of breakfasts, especially if it consists of something healthy and yummy! Today morning I wanted to try a smoothie bowl. I’ve seen them plastered all over Instagram plus I had all the necessary ingredients lying around at home already so why not? 🙂
The ingredients are very similar to my breakfast smoothie post, which is another one of my favourites. Check it out, if you haven’t already 😉
This smoothie bowl was super easy to make and only took me literally 5 minutes! So no excuses guys!
Here are a few basic steps.
1. Blend yoghurt (plain or greek) with frozen berries (or any fruit you prefer) or even some spinach, whatever you fancy, the idea is to create a bowl of goodness!
2. Top up with granola and fruits. I went for bananas and a few frozen berries.
3. Add some healthy seeds. I highly recommend chia seeds or flaxseed. Both of these have AMAZING superfood properties which I’ll discuss in detail in a different post.
